‘Swade Ahlade’ presented the prestigious Bani Bandana Samman 2026 at a special award ceremony held on Saturday afternoon at the Press Club Kolkata.
During the programme, prizes, certificates, and cash awards were presented to the first, second, and third prize-winning Saraswati Puja committees. In addition, consolation prizes were awarded to seven other puja organizers in recognition of their creative and aesthetic efforts.
Apart from honouring the Saraswati Puja organizers, Bani Bandana Samman 2026 was also conferred as a special recognition on several distinguished personalities, including Nandini Bhattacharya, Founder Director of the All Bengal Men’s Forum; Pranati Saha, Deputy Superintendent of Police, CID West Bengal; actress Sangeeta Das; Sweta Mishra; and nutritionist Anushree Mitra.
It is noteworthy that this year, along with cash prizes, mementos, and certificates, the winning puja committees were also gifted 1-litre pouches of mustard oil from ‘Swade Ahlade’ as a token of appreciation.
Speaking at the conclusion of the award ceremony, Gautam Sutradhar, Senior Marketing Officer of ‘Swade Ahlade’, stated, “The first prize of Rs. 10,000 was awarded to Beleghata 33 Pally, the second prize of Rs. 7,000 to Young Boys Amra Sobai, and the third prize of Rs. 5,000 to Pubali Natun Club.”
The event was graced by special guests Mr. Nabarun, Mousumi, and Jalili Das, adding further significance to the ceremony.
