From a former DPS Head Boy becoming a business director to young professionals leading national brands before 25, Alive India’s founder brings real-world entrepreneurship lessons to Delhi Public School Bangalore North’s Annual Day 2026.
BENGALURU, OCTOBER 2026: It was more than an Annual Day celebration. It was a meeting of generations, where education met entrepreneurship, culture met commerce, and young ambition found real-world inspiration.
Supratiek Shyamal Ghosh, international award-winning singer-songwriter, entrepreneur and Founder of Alive India, was invited as Chief Guest at Delhi Public School Bangalore North’s Annual Day Cultural Festival 2026, celebrating student creativity, leadership and the power of experiential learning.
The cultural showcase, “Ahilyabai Holkar: Her Story is History,” brought history alive through an ambitious musical dance drama, with students demonstrating confidence, creativity and remarkable stage presence.
But beyond the performances emerged another compelling story — how a Bengaluru-born music and media enterprise is challenging the traditional timeline of corporate leadership.
FROM HEAD BOY TO BUSINESS DIRECTOR — BEFORE 25
For Ghosh, the invitation carried special personal significance.
Years ago, he attended DPS events as a parent, watching his son Ayanaav Ghosh grow through the school’s educational environment.
Today, Ayanaav, a former DPS Head Boy, serves as Director – Business Growth & Strategic Alliances at Alive India, working across brand partnerships, live entertainment, business development and strategic initiatives.
His journey reflects an unconventional leadership philosophy: responsibility need not wait for age when capability, accountability and ownership are demonstrated.
Another example is Upasna Pandey, who progressed into the role of Alive Indias Brand Head – Partnerships & Strategic Alliances at Alive India within less than three years owns Alive India as ” Brand Face “
These journeys illustrate the organisation’s approach to identifying emerging talent, giving them meaningful responsibilities and developing them into business leaders.
ALIVE INDIA: WHERE YOUNG TALENT DOESN’T JUST LEARN THE BUSINESS — IT HELPS LEAD IT
Founded by Ghosh, Alive India has evolved into an artist-led Music × Media × Experiential Entertainment ecosystem, spanning multilingual live music, curated concerts, corporate entertainment, consumer activations, branded content, audiovisual production and media amplification.
Operating from its integrated Alive India Studio and Creator Residency in Bengaluru, the organisation brings creative development, production, business management and execution into one working environment.
Its philosophy addresses a growing challenge facing young professionals entering the creative economy.
The industry expects job-ready communication, client management, production knowledge and execution capabilities from Day One. Yet conventional classroom learning rarely offers sustained exposure to live national-brand projects.
Alive India’s answer is ALIVE EMERGE™, its emerging-talent development initiative focused on practical, on-ground industry learning.
Through real assignments, young professionals can gain exposure to client communication, creative development, music production, event operations, brand activations, multilingual content creation and media amplification.
The emphasis is not simply on observation, but on developing the judgement, discipline and ownership required to execute.
IGNITING MINDS. BUILDING LEADERS. CHANGING LIVES.
Speaking about the occasion, Supratiek Shyamal Ghosh reflected:
“Some invitations feel like coming home. Years ago, I sat here as a parent watching my son grow. Today, seeing him evolve from a DPS Head Boy into a business director reminds me that education plants the values, but opportunity allows them to flourish.”
He added:
“At Alive India, we believe young people shouldn’t have to wait ten years to prove what they can achieve today. Give them real projects, real clients, real accountability and the freedom to learn. Age doesn’t define leadership. Ownership does.”
Ghosh also acknowledged the school’s emphasis on inclusion, recognising Manju Ma’am for embodying values that extend beyond academic achievement.
Offering students his own interpretation of the DPS initials, he connected education with lifelong personal and professional development:
D — Desire, Discipline, Drive, Discovery, Dedication.
P — Purpose, Passion, Profit.
S — Seeking, Strength, Success, Skill.
FROM CLASSROOMS TO CREATIVE INDUSTRIES — AN INVITATION TO YOUNG INDIA
As India’s music, media, creator economy and experiential marketing sectors expand, Alive India aims to create pathways for aspiring artists, producers, marketers, content creators, brand coordinators and future business leaders.
Its Bengaluru-based integrated production and residency environment provides a setting for practical exposure to the creative and commercial sides of the industry.
For students and young professionals considering careers beyond conventional pathways, the message from the DPS Bangalore North celebration was clear:
The future belongs not only to those who dream big, but to those who learn to create, communicate, collaborate and deliver.
The evening concluded as a celebration of student talent, institutional values and the shared responsibility of schools and industry to nurture the next generation.
For Ghosh, the philosophy remains simple:
“From I to Us. From Me to We.”
And for Alive India, the mission continues: Changing Lives Through Music & Media.
