HELLO KOLKATA DURGASHREE 2025: A Grand Celebration of Festivity and Culture

The city of joy witnessed yet another spectacular festive journey with “HELLO KOLKATA DURGASHREE 2025”—the 18th edition of the iconic Durga Puja Parikrama, organized by HELLO KOLKATA (3-Dimensional News, Event Management, Books Publications, Promotions & Films).

This year’s Durga Puja contest was supported by LIONS Club of Kolkata Magnates, Rotary Club of Kasba, International Media Guild (IMG), and Literary, Cultural & Social Forum (LCSF). The associate partners included Sutton Derby Cricket Club (Australia) led by Dr. Kaushik Sunny Dasgupta, Nritya Gatha led by Indranil & Shilpa Mukherjee and FPAI.

With nearly 100 Pujas across Kolkata and the suburbs participating, the celebration was a true reflection of Bengal’s rich culture and festive spirit. The Chief Mentor of this year’s Parikrama was Dr. Barbara Thyab Ali, noted philanthropist and social activist from Chennai.

The distinguished Jury Panel featured prominent personalities such as Sovan Chakraborty, Sangita Das, Lopamudra Sarkar, Prof. Dr. Tinni Dutta, Prakash & Arpita Killa, Dr. Shanoli Ray, Subhajit Duttagupta, Prof. Dr. Parthasarathi Chakraborthy, Parimal Malakar, Oindrila Chatterjee, Payal Varma, Dr. Priyanka Banerjee, Dr. Seema Singh, Pranati Saha, Tirthankar Mukherjee, Rintu Das, Dr. Sangita Jha, Rituparna Sen, Keya Chakrabarti, Supratip Mazumdar and Sam Kapoor.

The HELLO KOLKATA SHARAD SAMMAN 2025 was conferred on several remarkable Pujas, especially Barisha Sammilani Sarbajanin Durgotsav (Behala).

Other notable winners were Manikpur Sarbajanin (Lichubagan Chouhati), Nabapalli Daspara Nabayubak Sangha, Basudevpur Sangathani, Nabaday Sangha Joyrampur (Behala), College Square and others.

Asish Basak, Organizing Chairperson of Durga Puja Parikrama 2025, announced future plans stating, “Next year, HELLO KOLKATA will organize the Puja Parikrama not just in Kolkata but also beyond West Bengal.”
