“Praaner Daak,” organised by Global Academy of Fine Arts in association with Event Maniac Foundation, was held at Behala Sarat Sadan on 21st March.
The evening opened with a captivating performance by Bengali band ‘Dohar’. This was followed by “Swagatam Hey Basanta,” a vibrant dance sequence performed by over 100 students of Global Academy. The finale featured a unique dance production inspired by Gulzar in conversation with Tagore, choreographed by director Rimpa Dey.
WB Police official Ms. Shanti Das, Sovan Chakraborty, Goutam Ghosh and other dignitaries graced the occasion.
The organisers also contributed to social causes, donating to Behala Naba Prayas and a thalassemia-affected child.
They also honoured two promising wrestlers from West Bengal.
