Emergency’s 50th anniversary commemorated by PUCL and West Bengal Democratic Citizens’ Forum

On the Emergency’s 50th anniversary, PUCL and the West Bengal Democratic Citizens’ Forum held a vigil for Tamanna Khatun, a 9-year-old killed in post-poll violence.

Speakers- including Dr. Binayak Sen, Subhajit Duttagupta, Aditya Dutta, Swastik Sharma, and Amlan Bhattacharya—called for justice and child protection. They urged a return to humane, accountable democracy in today’s troubling times.
