West Bengal Wrestling Association Hosts Annual Event at Behala Sharat Sadan

The West Bengal Wrestling Association organized its much-anticipated annual event at Behala Sharat Sadan this Sunday, aiming to bring the sport of wrestling closer to the public and inspire the younger generation to take up the sport.

The event was spearheaded by Shovan Chakraborty, the General Secretary of the West Bengal Wrestling Association, who played a key role in organizing the program. The gathering was graced by several notable dignitaries, including the Honorable Mayor Council Shri Debashish Kumar Mahashay, President of Wrestling Shonostar Shri Gautam Ghosh Mahashay, Vice President of the All India Wrestling Association Shri Asit Kumar Saha Mahashay, and the head of Test and Bite Shri Saurabh Saha Mahashay.

One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Shri Asit Saha Mahashay by Event Maniac, acknowledging his outstanding contributions to the sport of wrestling.

In a unique gesture of health and wellness, Healthy Life distributed health cards to all attendees, providing wrestlers and their families with special discounts on health check-ups.

The evening was filled with lively entertainment, featuring a stunning dance and music performance. The Niharika Center for Performing Arts and Maloshree’s performance of Chitrangada added an artistic flair to the event. The entire program was beautifully hosted by Rudra Mishra, keeping the audience engaged throughout.

The event received strong support from Test and Bite, Healthy Life, and Event Maniac, showcasing the continued efforts of the West Bengal Wrestling Association to popularize wrestling and promote a healthy lifestyle in the region.
