Tribute Paid to Dr. Kashi Prasad Jayaswal on His 89th Death Anniversary

On the occasion of the 89th death anniversary of world-renowned historian Dr. Kashi Prasad Jayaswal, a floral tribute was offered at his statue located at Kashi Chowk in Maniktala, Kolkata. The commemorative ceremony was organized under the leadership of Kali Prasad Dubey, head of the Dr. Kashi Prasad Jayaswal Memorial Preservation Committee.

Several distinguished personalities and members of society joined the event to pay their respects. Among them were social worker Bhaskar Choudhury, Suresh Gupta, Raj Jayaswal, theatre artist Shiv Jayaswal, Mayur Jayaswal, Bhola Prasad Jayaswal, Akash Jayaswal, Kartik Prasad, Rajesh Jayaswal, Gautam Jayaswal, Rajiv Jayaswal, Nandkishore Jayaswal, Manoj Shaw, Jitendra Jayaswal, and Vikas Jayaswal (Dabbu).

The tribute event served as a moment of reflection on Dr. Jayaswal’s enduring contributions to Indian history and scholarship, reaffirming the importance of preserving the legacy of one of the nation’s most respected historians.
