Tennis Icon Leander Paes Honoured in Kolkata

Tennis legend Leander Paes, one of India’s greatest sporting icons with an incredible tally of 18 Grand Slam doubles titles, was felicitated at a grand ceremony hosted at Dakshin Kalikata Sansad (DKS).

The honour was conferred by Sri Arup Biswas, Sports Minister of West Bengal, alongside Debasish Kumar, President of DKS, and Hironmoy Chatterjee, President of the Bengal Tennis Association.

The event turned into a celebratory evening as sports lovers and dignitaries applauded Paes for his remarkable journey and his unmatched contribution to Indian tennis on the global stage.
