Prof. Buhari Isah Named NHRC Human Rights Ambassador for Niger State.
The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has appointed Professor Buhari Isah, a globally renowned human rights advocate, as the Human Rights Ambassador for Niger State.
In his new role, Prof. Isah will lead awareness campaigns, engage with communities, and collaborate with stakeholders to uphold and defend human rights across the state. His mission includes focusing on youth, women, and marginalized groups—ensuring no voice goes unheard.
“I am honored to take on this responsibility and will work relentlessly to promote justice, equality, and dignity for all,” Prof. Isah stated.
NHRC Director and State Coordinator, Amb. Nuhu Mohammed, Ph.D., welcomed the appointment, saying, “Prof. Buhari Isah brings unmatched dedication to the cause. He deserved even more.”
