In a celebration of talent, intellect, and cultural richness, the Literary, Cultural and Social Forum (LCSF) hosted the ‘LCSF Excellence Award 2025’ at Bhavanipur Pragyan Bhaban, drawing applause for individuals who have made exceptional contributions to literature, science, and society.

Among the key highlights of the evening was the felicitation of Dr. Gautam Sarkar from Manikchak College, who was presented with the coveted LCSF Excellence Award 2025 for his outstanding dedication to the academic and social development of the region.

Adding literary prestige to the event, the ‘Annadashankar Roy Literary Award 2025’ was bestowed upon acclaimed author Preeti Kantha Majumdar, acknowledging her impactful body of work and contribution to contemporary literature.

Bridging the realms of science and spirituality, the ‘Palli Kabi Jasimuddin Award 2024’ was awarded to Dr. Arup Mitra, a scientist and spiritual figure whose multidimensional journey has inspired many.

The evening was made even more special with the presence of Dr. Amalkanti Roy, celebrated writer and thinker, who graced the occasion as the chief guest and addressed the gathering with powerful reflections on creativity and human values.

The ceremony was attended by a host of dignitaries including Devkanya Sen, Ashish Basak, and several prominent cultural personalities, creating an atmosphere of inspiration and recognition.
