Bharat Sanskriti Utsab 2025 to Celebrate India’s Cultural Grandeur Across Burdwan and Kolkata – Organised by Hindusthan Art & Music Society
The Hindusthan Art & Music Society (HAM Society) proudly announces the upcoming Bharat Sanskriti Utsab 2025, a grand celebration of Indian art, music, and dance. The prestigious cultural festival will commence on December 18 and conclude on December 31, 2025, spreading its vibrant essence across Burdwan and Kolkata.
This year’s edition promises to be one of India’s most dynamic and inclusive cultural gatherings, uniting artists and participants from across the nation and abroad.
The Burdwan chapter of the festival will take place from December 18 to 22 at Town Hall Maidan, Sanskriti Lokomancha, and the Municipal Boys School Ground & Hall, Purba Bardhaman. The festivities will then continue in Kolkata from December 26 to 31 at the Calcutta Blind School Ground & Hall and Behala Sarat Sadan, Behala.
Marking the 18th National and 50th International Dance Competition and Festival, the event will be inaugurated by the President of the Festival, Hon’ble MLA Sri Debasish Kumar, who stated,
“Across all 11 days, the events comprising competitions and recitals will take place daily from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with the competition segment concluding at 5:00 p.m.”
Adding further, Mr. Prosenjit Poddar, Secretary of the Hindusthan Art & Music Society, shared,
“We are receiving an overwhelming response not only from remote parts of India but also from abroad — including the USA, Dubai, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia. So far, registrations have come in from 14 states of India and 6 countries, with nearly 5,777 participants, marking a 12% increase from last year.”
The Bharat Sanskriti Utsab continues to serve as a premier platform that celebrates and promotes India’s rich cultural heritage, bringing together renowned maestros and emerging talents under one banner. The festival’s program lineup includes classical and folk dances, vocal and instrumental recitals, theatre performances, visual arts, and cross-cultural exchanges — all echoing the spirit of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.”
