Two-day cricket competition concluded on “Khela Hobe” Day
On the occasion of 79th Independence Day and “Khela Hobe” Day, a two-day cricket competition DPL was successfully concluded under the aegis of Dina Bandhu Sporting Club in Ward 26 of the Municipal Corporation.
The competition was inaugurated by MLA and Minister Dr. Shashi Panja and local councilor Robin Chatterjee. On this occasion, the minister wished the organizers on Independence Day and said that sports is the best way to maintain mutual harmony. At present, some political parties want to spoil this mutual harmony. We have to remain united in all circumstances.
Chief Organizer Sujal Gupta said that a total of 12 teams participated in this competition. The winning team was honoured with a trophy. He said that in the coming days, the format of this competition will be expanded further.
Aditya, Rahul, Arjun, Dheeraj, Vicky, Rishi, Aditya, Chhotu, Ayush, Shivam and others played an active role in making the competition a success.
