PRSI Kolkata Chapter elects New Committee

The Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) Kolkata Chapter held its 55th Annual General Body Meeting.

PRSI-K elected New Committee, with Soumyajit Mahapatra as Chairman. Other office-bearers include Aninda Das (Vice Chairman), Chitralekha Banerjee (Secretary), Nirmal Chatterjee (Joint Secretary) and Yasmin Khatoon (Treasurer). Dr. Mahul Brahma and Shouvik Kumar Chandra also joined the Executive Committee.

Keynote speaker Jawahar Sircar emphasized the need for media professionals to adapt to the digital shift while upholding journalistic ethics.

The event, attended by PR professionals, journalists, and academics, highlighted PRSI Kolkata’s role in meaningful discourse on media transformation and public communication.
