Suman Das (Bunty) is the Founder of ‘Sargam Dance and Art Institute’. It is located near Airport Gate No. 1.

This 14 years old institution trains 200 students of all ages in Dance and Art.
‘Pravat Feri’ was organized with great zeal on 14th March to celebrate Holi Utsav.
Many students, parents, teachers and well-wishers celebrated the colourful festival along with Bunty.

নিজস্ব সংবাদদাতা শম্পা ঘোষ,কলকাতা, ১২ সেপ্টেম্বর:বাংলার কৃতী ব্যক্তিত্বদের স্বীকৃতি জানাতে এক অনন্য উদ্যোগ নিল বেঙ্গল ক্রিয়েটিভ ক্লাব ও আন্তর্জাতিক সাহিত্য সমন্বয় কেন্দ্র। এদিন কলকাতার বৌদ্ধ ধর্মাঙ্কুর সভা ঘরে আয়োজিত এক বর্ণাঢ্য অনুষ্ঠানে রাজ্যের ৩০ জন বিশিষ্ট শিল্পী, সাহিত্যিক, শিক্ষাবিদ, বিজ্ঞানী ও সমাজকর্মীর হাতে তুলে দেওয়া হল “ভারত গৌরব সম্মান”।
অনুষ্ঠানের সূচনা করেন বেঙ্গল ক্রিয়েটিভ ক্লাবের সভাপতি সুরথ চক্রবর্তী। তিনি বলেন—
“এই সম্মাননা কেবল পুরস্কার নয়, এটি ভারতবর্ষের গৌরবকে বিশ্বের দরবারে তুলে ধরার অঙ্গীকার।”
বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন শোভাবাজার রাজবাড়ীর প্রবীর কৃষ্ণ দেব, তালবাদ্য শিল্পী মল্লার ঘোষ, ব্রিগেডিয়ার তুষার কান্তি মুখোপাধ্যায়, কবি জয়দীপ চট্টোপাধ্যায় প্রমুখ। তাঁদের হাত দিয়েই সম্মাননা প্রদান করা হয়।

সম্মানপ্রাপ্ত বিশিষ্টজনেরা:এবারের সম্মানপ্রাপকদের মধ্যে রয়েছেন বাংলা সাহিত্য, শিল্প, সংগীত, পরিবেশ, সমাজসেবা ও গবেষণা ক্ষেত্রে অবদানের জন্য সুপরিচিত ৩০ জন। তাঁদের মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য—

প্রবীর কুমার বিশ্বাস – বাংলা সাহিত্যের দিকপাল ও আন্তর্জাতিক স্বর্ণপদকপ্রাপ্ত সাহিত্যিক।

সিপ্তি সরকার – লেখিকা ও সমাজসেবিকা।

সরোজ ভট্টাচার্য – সমাজকেন্দ্রিক লেখনীতে পরিচিত কবি।

উত্তম দেবনাথ – সাহিত্য ও নাট্যজগতে প্রতিষ্ঠিত নাম।

শিব সৌম্য বিশ্বাস – কবি ও সমাজকর্মী।

বিকাশ বসাক – শিক্ষামূলক সাহিত্যকর্মের জন্য খ্যাত।

সঙ্ঘমিত্রা ব্যানার্জী – শিক্ষিকা ও গবেষক।

মন্দিরা মুখার্জ্জী ব্যানার্জ্জী – দূরদর্শনের শিল্পী ও বহুমুখী প্রতিভা।

এই সম্মাননা শুধু বাংলার নয়, সমগ্র দেশের সংস্কৃতি, সাহিত্য ও সমাজচেতনার প্রতীক হিসেবে নতুন উচ্চতায় পৌঁছল।

মনের ঠিকানার উদ্যোগে --- অরুণ গোয়েঙ্কা , শঙ্কর গুপ্তা ও রাজেশ গুপ্তা মহাশয়দের সৌজন্যে Jhargram nibashi তিনটি অনাথ ছাত্র- সমীর নায়েক, খোকা মূর্মূ ও রাকেশ সিং কে তাদের মাধ্যমিকের সফলতা ও পলিটেকনিক ইনস্টিটিউটের ভর্তি হওয়ার সফলতার স্বীকৃতি স্বরূপ সংবর্ধনা ও পুরস্কৃত করা হয় ।
তাদের উৎসাহিত করতে বিড়লা প্ল্যানেটরিয়াম শো দেখানো হয়।

পিতৃমাতৃহীন এই কিশোরেরা যাতে তাদের প্রয়োজনীয় লেখাপড়ার কাজ চালিয়ে যেতে পারে তার জন্য মনের ঠিকানা দায়বদ্ধ.
ঝাড়গ্রাম জেলার প্রান্তিক জনগোষ্ঠীর মানুষ ও শিশুদের নিয়ে মনের ঠিকানা aro valo কাজ করতে আগামী dine agrahi ।
