India Book of Records will confer “IBR Achiever” title on Mr. Malay Pit, Founder of Positive Barta on 18th March at Kolkata PRESS CLUB
On 18th March, at the Press Club in Kolkata, the India Book of Records will officially confer the prestigious “IBR Achiever” title on Mr. Malay Pit, the visionary behind Positive Barta.
The award will be presented in a formal ceremony that afternoon. This recognition from the India Book of Records marks an important milestone for Positive Barta in its mission to spread positivity in society. The award ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 18 March, at 3 PM, at the Kolkata Press Club. Positive Barta began as a digital initiative and later expanded to cable networks, aiming to build a positive mindset in society—especially among children—and to foster an industry-friendly, value-based environment through uplifting news.
Acknowledging the platform’s vision and mission, the India Book of Records has decided to honour Positive Barta and its founder, Malay Pit. Earlier, on 18th February, this year, the organization officially informed Mr. Pit via email about his selection as an IBR Achiever.
According to representatives from the India Book of Records, the award will be presented during the event at 3 PM on 18 March. Several distinguished guests from various walks of life are expected to attend the ceremony.
In response to the announcement, Malay Pit shared, “This recognition increases our responsibility. People are inherently good and possess a desire to do positive things. But over time, due to various social factors, negative thoughts start to take root. This ultimately impacts society at every level. Through Positive Barta, we aim to awaken positive thinking in people’s minds and contribute to social progress by fostering an industry-friendly environment. If we succeed, we can build a better world—one that is truly liveable for our children. That’s why we’ve always encouraged children between the ages of 3 and 13 to engage with Positive Barta, so they grow up without becoming part of a negative mindset.”
He also said, “We began broadcasting through digital platforms like Facebook and YouTube. Now, with the support of cable networks and individuals in digital media, Positive Barta has grown significantly. Looking ahead, we plan to broadcast via satellite. Our vision is to use artificial intelligence to present Indian culture, philosophy, and way of life to a global audience.”
Mr. Malay Pit added, “This recognition from the India Book of Records will further motivate us in our journey to spread positivity. We feel deeply encouraged and energized by this honour.”
