As the world observes World Mental Health Day, the Mental Health Society is taking an inspiring step toward awareness and action through its upcoming event, “MINDSCAPE: Conversations for Change”. The program will be held on 12th October, 2025 from 12 PM to 6 PM, at the Indian Museum, Kolkata.
With the central theme “Impact of Social Dynamics on the Mental Health of Children and Young Adults,” MINDSCAPE will explore how family structures, social expectations, peer pressure and modern digital influences affect the emotional landscape of today’s youth.
A distinguished panel comprising Minali Sehdev, Dr. Madhurima Dasgupta, Pratti Chakraborty, Sudipa Bardhan Mazumdar, Shreyashi Bhaumik Sinha, Ruplekha Sinha Roy, Poulomi Pal and Asish Basak will lead discussions that aim to challenge stigma and promote compassion in conversations about mental health.
The event – MINDSCAPE- is organised under the leadership of Suchismita Chakraborty, Administrative Manager and Senior Psychologist at MHS, whose commitment and coordination have been central to bringing Mindscape to life.
The event promises to be more than just a seminar—it’s envisioned as a collective journey of reflection and empowerment. By bringing together professionals, parents, students, and advocates, MINDSCAPE seeks to create a community that listens, learns, and takes active steps toward positive mental well-being.
Mental Health Society began its journey in 2023 as an online platform and has since grown to establish its offline chamber at Dumdum Cantonment.
Founded by Namrata Bhowmik, an RCI-registered Consultant Psychologist and Assistant Professor of Psychology, Mental Health Society envisions a world where conversations about mental health are open, inclusive, and stigma-free.
🌿 Join MINDSCAPE at the Indian Museum oon 12th Oct. and be a voice for change—because every conversation counts.
