ICAA Business Strategy Summit

A historic milestone was achieved for ICAA at the Business Strategy Summit 2025, held on 3rd May, 2025 at HHI Kolkata—a full day of enriching discussions, dynamic panels, and insightful dialogue. Distinguished dignitaries and eminent speakers shared their perspectives, sparking on a powerful brainstorming of of ideas and strategies that will shape ICAA’s path forward.

In a landmark moment, ICAA proudly unveiled a bold and visionary leadership structure for FY 2025–2027. This new framework includes several key components: the Mentor Panel, Advisory Council, Leadership Commando Team, and the VIBGYOR Zonal Leadership Teams—seven vibrant teams inspired by the colors of the rainbow. Each zonal team will be instrumental in driving growth and engagement, particularly across B-30 cities (Beyond Top 30).

This revitalized structure is aligned with ICAA’s unified mission and vision—to empower our members and MFD partners nationwide. The VIBGYOR teams will foster collaboration, innovation, and regional impact, creating a more inclusive and energized ecosystem.

The highlights of the event were prominent speakers like Mr. Niraj Kumar from ICICI Prudential AMC, who shared his unique perspective of diversification by investing through Fund of Funds and how it is suitable for investors in this current scenario, followed Mr. Prasanna Pathak, Managing Partner of The Wealth Company, who shared his market perspective and opportunity for growth in the alternative investments space, next in line was Mr. Rahul Banerjee, Founder, Director – PGP Academy who highlighted the importance of continuous learning for Mutual Fund Distributors in order to gear up for the new age products that are fast becoming the preference of the investors.

He was followed by Mr. Arabinda Kundu, Founder, Director of Saffolya O Samriddhi LLP, who gave a unique perspective on how to corporatise your Mutual Fund distribution model and adopt valuation strategy to attract foreign investments in your business. Next in line was Mr. Alok Sasmal, who discussed the importance of data analytics and how it can transform your distribution business. Next in line were back to back powerful presentations from two CEOs of Taurus MF and Quantum MF who gave their views on the opportunities that lie ahead in the Mutual fund industry and how the MFDs can gear up to address this market. Then came one of the most interesting and eye opener session on prevention , protection and importance of Cybersecurity, from Mr. Sandeep Sengupta, Founder director of ISOAH, the session was followed by a panel discussion from the domain experts in the Field of Cyber Fraud Detection and prevention, the panel was graced by Mr. Kankar Prasad Barui, IPS, DG Cyber Crime West Bengal Police, Advocate Tirthankar Mukherjee (Supreme Court of India), Mr. Sandeep Sengupta, Founder director of ISOAH and moderated by Mr. Goutam Karmakar, Founder Chairman ICAA. It was followed by a panel Discussion on how to overcome and grow the business of Wealth Management and become a Famil advisor, with discussion directly from the heart by prominent MFDs of Kolkata & Siliguri.

Mr. Raja Bhattacharya, Mr. Niraj Choudhuri and Mrs. Sheela Chakraborty graced this panel discussion which was moderated by Mr. Ajay Arora (Specialist in managing Wealth of Family Offices).

Next in Line was another powerful session from Mr. Sitesh Amitabh, (NSH Investwell) who shared the importance of a robust and scalable wealth management software to sustain the growth.

Next in Line was a powerful session from Mr. Jigar Parekh, Founder, AnchorEdge, who explained the importance of being and Enterprenuer and explained the key points to promote and make your business self sustainable. Then came the show stopper session of the day by the one and only Mr. Mrinal Chakraborty (International Motivator and Mind Trainer). He led the entire audience through a beautiful journey of self introspection and the power of concentration to channel your resources to move ahead in life. The event culminated with the felicitation by Mr. Gaurang Ganeriwala (Zonal Head ICICI Prudential AMC) of the members who have made valuable contributions to the growth of ICAA as well as contributed selflessly for the success of the recently concluded ICAA Mega Convention 2025 held at Darjeeling. The event was also marked by special felicitation of Presidential Award Winner and Winner of the International Seven Oceans Challenge – Miss Sayani Das.
