Windamere has always believed, true progress goes beyond doing good doors and windows for beautiful homes — it’s about creating a healthier, stronger community.
And this week, Windamere is proud to be part of something truly meaningful — Kolkata’s first major initiative against cervical cancer.
In collaboration with Rotary Clubs of Kolkata, a large-scale HPV vaccination camp was organized at Vidhan Udyan, where over 250 young girls received their vaccines — a powerful step toward preventing cervical cancer and ensuring a safer future for our next generation.
The event was graced by Maniktala MLA Supti Pandey, Youth TMC leader Shreya Pandey, councilors Shantiranjan Kundu and Elora Saha, and many other respected citizens.
A special mention for Shreya Pandey, whose energy and leadership played a huge role in making this day such a success.
This initiative is part of a larger mission — to vaccinate 2,500 girls across Kolkata, supported by funds raised through the Par for Prevention Rotary Golf Classic Tournament hosted by The RCGC and Tollygunge Clubs of Kolkata.
Windamere officials expressed gratitude and thanks to their partners — Sanatan Textile, Rotary International and everyone who joined hands to make this cause possible.
Very intense churning of ideas towards creation of such fountainheads of goodness as these clubs with vigorous contributions from our good samaritans- Mr. Pradeep Surekha, Architect Subir Basu, Mr. Indrajit Bhalotia, Ms. Saloni Priya, and Mr. Nirmal Agarwal, elegantly moderated by Gunjan Sahewala , brought immense inspiration and encouragement to the movement.
As Windamere Director, Mr. Hemant Lodha, beautifully said —“Health is the foundation of national progress. Together, we can ensure that every girl in India has access to this life-saving vaccine.”
Windamere is also grateful to Tostem Japan, which will dedicate a significant portion of its CSR funds to continuing its support for this noble mission.
To everyone who made this possible — thank you for believing in the power of collective action.
This is just the beginning of a long and impactful journey.
We love you, Kolkata….
