Kaikhali Shyambaba Complex Residence Cultural Society Celebrates Grand Durga Puja with Enthusiasm and Cultural Fervor

The Kaikhali Shyambaba Complex Residence Cultural Society marked a joyous and vibrant celebration of Durga Puja this year, drawing residents together in devotion, culture, and festivity.

Organized under the aegis of the Shyambaba Complex Residence Cultural Society, the Durga Puja was inaugurated with grandeur and devotion. The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of several eminent personalities, including MLA Aditi Munshi, MMIC Devraj Chakraborty, Councillor Samrat Barua, Vinod Sultania, and noted Tollywood actor Rajib Bose, among other dignitaries.

Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Agarwal, President of the Society, shared that this is only the second year of their Durga Puja, yet it has already become a much-anticipated event for residents. “The enthusiasm among the residents is truly inspiring. We began the Puja with the sacred Bodhan on Mahashashthi, and since then, each day has been filled with devotion and celebration,” he said.

The festive spirit was highlighted through a series of engaging events — a sit-and-draw competition for children on Mahasaptami, a special Mahishasura Mardini dance performance on Mahashtami illuminated with vibrant lighting effects, and a cultural program by the children of the society. Mahanavami witnessed energetic DJ Raas Garba Nights, where residents danced with infectious enthusiasm. On Vijaya Dashami, women took part in the traditional Sindoor Khela and Dhunuchi Naach, symbolizing joy and togetherness.

The event’s success was made possible by the dedicated efforts of the organizing committee, including Vice-President Ramesh Dhanuka, Secretary Sandeep Lohiya, Joint Secretary Ravi Lohiya, Treasurer Kamal Goenka, Joint Treasurer Satish Poddar, Convener Sunil Chaudhary, and active members Anil Bhalotia, Sajjan Sharma, Prakash Saraf, Anil Chaudhary, Sanjeev Sharma, Narayan Tibrewal, Pradeep Goenka, and Anirban Barman Roy.

With devotion, cultural vibrancy, and strong community participation, the Kaikhali Shyambaba Complex Durga Puja 2025 stood as a glowing example of unity and festive spirit in the City of Joy.
