Football competition on Independence Day saw a confluence of passion, courage and unity

79th Independence Day program was celebrated in a different style. Sudama Devi Bhagwan Das Jaiswal Foundation organized a one-day day and night inter-Para street football competition at Bechu Chatterjee Street (near Jaiswal Samaj Bhavan) in the metropolis. This competition saw a confluence of passion, courage and unity. The competition started at 11 am after the flag hoisting.

A total of 8 teams participated in this competition. The talent and determination of the players participating in this wonderful competition that went on throughout the day was brilliantly displayed.

Roshan Jaiwal, Founder and President of Sudama Devi Bhagwan Das Jaiswal Foundation, said that it is inspired by vision, this festival is much more than a game. It can be said that this step is a movement to empower the youth and break barriers.

On this occasion, the Foundation also honored eminent personalities who have made valuable contributions in social reform works. Roshan Jaiswal said that there is a need to work actively in the interest of society so that a good society and country can be built.
Trinamool Congress leader Kunal Ghosh, local councillor Swapna Bose and many other dignitaries were present as guests in the programme.
